Membership

Our AAUW-Tahoe Nevada branch supports the overall AAUW mission to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education and philanthropy.

Why join or renew?

    • Support funding of scholarships for local women and girls
    • Participate in fun Interest groups: Outdoor Enthusiasts hiking/kayaking/biking, Book Club, Cooking Club, Great Decisions, Bunco, Travel Tips and more.
    • Stay connected with fellow members via monthly meetings: Outdoor or Zoom meetings for now.

Membership in AAUW is open to any graduate holding an associate or equivalent (RN), baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution. Students working toward a qualifying degree may become student affiliates. If you experience any problems in joining, send an email to  membership@tahoenvaauw.org.

Dues

Dues are $100 for the 2021-22 membership year, which includes

The membership year is July 1 – June 30.

If you join after March, your dues will cover the remainder of the the current year membership as well as the next years membership.

Tax deductability: $59 of the $62 Association dues is tax deductible. Please consult your financial advisor.

Membership Information

If you are a student working toward a qualifying degree become a student affiliate.

Renewing Members:  In the spring, prior to the July 1 beginning of a new membership year, you will receive an email from AAUW National that will have a link to process your renewal online using your credit card. If you have a problem processing your renewal, contact the Treasurer@tahoenvaauw.org.”

Note: To become a member of the NV Online Branch of AAUW, you must also be a member of the national (AAUW) and state (AAUW NV) organizations.
