Interest Group:                                 — Great Decisions 2025 —

An engaging series of discussions on topics provided by the Foreign Policy Association. Usually 10-12 ladies attend each discussion and this an excellent way to meet other members. The discussions are non-political and participants bring widely diverse backgrounds and perspectives which all contribute to the richness of the discussions.

Each discussion follows this format: Participants read about the assigned topic at home from the Great Decisions book. Each discussion begins with a 25 minute video about the topic. We use the questions at the end of the chapter as a guide for the discussion.

Books are pre-ordered yearly; however, new members can join at any point by ordering their
own book (digital or hard copy) from the www.FPA.org website

There are two strands and participants are encouraged to mix strands to maximize participation:
1) Weekly Strand – Every Tuesday at 2:00pm in February and March. Location to be
determined.
2) Monthly Strand – The last Wednesday of each month
February – September from 4:30pm-6:30pm
February, March and April discussions take place via Zoom.
May – September discussions take place at Burnt Cedar beach or in private homes.
