We are in for a treat on Wednesday, October 8, when McAvoy Layne, will be our speaker, enabling us to experience the character of Mark Twain firsthand. For 36 years, McAvoy has been preeminent in preserving the wit and wisdom of The Wild Humorist of the Pacific Slope, Mark Twain. He has played the ghost of Samuel Clemens and shared his expertise on Mark Twain and his writings on both the Biography and Discovery Channels and is a winner of the Nevada Award for Excellence in School and Library Service.
The October 8 Program Meeting will be held at the Chateau from 5:30-7:30.
