Meetings: With the exception of the November meeting and the December Holiday Party, the Tahoe Nevada branch meets for dinner and a program on the third Wednesday of each month unless the membership is notified of a change. All other monthly meetings through May are held on the third Wednesday, weather permitting. To make a dinner reservation, email Pamela Sheldon or Cheryl Lancaster.
Activities: The Tahoe Nevada branch also has active special interest groups such as the Outdoor Enthusiasts and the Book Group. To find out how to participate in those activities, click on the special-interest-group link on the right.

About Us: The most active AAUW chapter in the Lake Tahoe area, the Tahoe Nevada branch has an enviable record of innovative collaboration with other community entities. We also actively support the national organization of AAUW (a 501(c)(3) corporation formerly known as the American Association of University Women) and the AAUW Action Fund (formerly known as the Legal Advocacy Fund, 501(c)(6).
MISSION: AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.
AAUW is a powerful advocate and visible leader in equity and education through research, philanthropy, and measurable change in critical areas impacting the lives of women and girls.
When you join AAUW, you join a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance.
